Hello Pals,
Time to write something different today. Many of you know I am crazy about my adventures. Especially when it comes to Trekking. I never thought I would have taken trekking so seriously. When I started it in 2016, it was just an escape from my monotonous routine life. That time when I lost my job, and I was at home, I started reading and watching movies. And from one of the movies it got hit. And I decided to go to the Mountains. And after that, I never looked back. It's a very interesting journey I have started. I am mostly a solo person, I don't depend on anyone for anything. Things I want to do and somewhere I want to go I prefer to go alone. When it comes to trekking, it's a great opportunity to meet new people every time with different personalities, and different experiences of their life. I have learned a lot from many people on each trek Or adventure.
Today I want to share one of my such adventuress which I did recently. It was a thrilling experience. As I am not a travel blogger like that, I like to share my experience in my words.
We few friends decided to go for this adventure near Mumbai which is around 5 hours run by car. The name of the place is Jivdhan Fort. We reached the base village at midnight, and all slept in the tent. It was a quite pleasant cold there. We had to get by 4am in the morning to avoid heat and crowd. It was the weekend so it was obvious that there will be many people coming for this event.
After one hour of early morning trek, we reached the fort along with our organizer. And now actual fun started. There was a valley crossing, which I had never done before in my life. This activity involves getting from one mountain to another across a valley using nothing but ropes whose two ends are securely fastened on the two mountains. Participants then wear a harness and mount the ropes to traverse several feet above the ground. That valley is 350 feet deep. I was scared to death. Just imagine you are hanging on a rope between two mountains!! Imagine that you’re hanging by a rope in the middle of two mountains, with a valley thousands of feet below. If this vertigo-inducing situation gives you an adrenaline rush.
After crossing the valley, there was rippling, we have to get down by rappeling of 450 feet mountain. Which was another terrifying experience.
We all decided to get it shot by Drone, and we paid extra for that. But believe me, it was worth watching what you have done through the drone. I would suggest to watch it on full screen. You will get to know when you will watch my videos below my post.
I love what I do for myself. I feel alive after doing such crazy things. I would love to hear from all of you as always. Till then have a lovely weekend and take care of yourself and your loved ones.
