Hope you are doing good, all are safe and sound. In India festive is on, from yesterday " Navratri" has begun. It's that time of the year when devotees immerse their soul in happiness and devotion as Goddess Durga for 9 days and the festive zeal can be felt in the preparations and celebration. Navratri translates to Nav meaning nine and Ratri meaning nights and honors the divine Goddess Durga who defeated the demon king Mahishasura in a battle. Undeniably, the pandemic scare has changed the dynamics of life, but amidst all this Goddess Durga brings with her a ray of hope for devotees to survive the wrath of the Coronavirus pandemic.

During this festival family and friends get together to celebrate it as per their tradition. In Gujarat and in many cities, dandiya is played during the festival and mostly people fast and spend their time in prayer. But because of Covid this year there won't be any big social celebration. 

But still, I did some shopping, not for Navratri especially. I liked this saree from Amazon, so I ordered it. Its beautiful blue colored Georgette Sari.  It's not pure georgette, but the fabric is good. I bought it because of its color. It has a solid matching border. It comes with matching art silk blouse fabric, which I got stitched from my tailor. I feel this saree is ideal for the marriage ceremony, festival, parties, and social gathering. I paired with matching oxidized earrings and matching blue stone rings. I chose a pink shade of lipstick and smoky eyes with kajal. Honestly, I don't know much about makeup and I don't have all the required stuff for makeup too. So this is it for me to get a look.

Gorgeous Black Georgette Saree!!

 Good Afternoon Loved one!!

This year has completely changed because of the Pandemic. The festive season has started in India, but there is no celebration this year. Coupled with the festive season, the pandemic seems to have ‘fast-forwarded’ a shift in shopping habits as most people do not want to go out due to fear of the virus. There is a clear spike in the number of online orders in the city. For instance, homes here would make one or two online purchases a month until March. But during June and July, the number of such purchases spiked. Some online deals were attractive compared to their offline counterparts. But, more than that ‘deals’, ‘convenience & safety’ drove the trend, according to industry experts.

Even I did a few only shopping during this time. Today's post is from this online shopping, I bought this Black Georgette Saree from Myntra . I always fan of  Black color, and if it is georgette, then I don't want anything more than that. It has very elegant golden work on the border of this saree. Because of the border, saree looks very classy. I love its transparency. I received a blouse golden blouse with it, I preferred a black blouse with it. This saree looks very rich so it doesn't require too much jewelry, so I wore black and golden earrings with it and matching rings with it. All-time favorite smoky eyes and Kajal I can't ever miss. The right shade of lipstick is a must for a good look. Did curls to hair for a change.

Formal Look with Black Skirt & Top!!

 Good Evening friends!!

It's been more than 6 months, I haven't seen the face of my office. Work from home is going well, in fact, more productive, but not time limitation.WFH has its own advantage and disadvantage. 

The advantages are you don't need to rush to the office in the morning hours and not in the evening hours for home. Your kids are in front of you, so you are more relaxed. You can take care of your kid and your home properly.  

The disadvantages are you have to work late hours, there is no time bounding as you are at home, you can work till it ends(which is nonending actually). The saddest thing is you can't wear your favorite outfits, which you bought for the office and for outings 😟😔. You don't get ready, you don't get a chance to wear your favorite shoes. So many sad things. But this is what pandemic has done to all of us. Anyways, now we all are used to it. 

Still have some formal wear to show all of you. It's a black skirt and a Rouge pink top. 

This skirt is pretty old, I never wore it, I mean didn't get a perfect chance. So I thought to take it out and make a post for the blog. It has little stonework on one side, and that is another reason I was not wearing it in office. Maybe it will look for some party wear. I opt it with this high neck pink top, which gives formal look. This time my daughter sets my hair, she made the curls to it and I love it. I did the very basic makeup, kajal matching lipstick, and bit of smoky eye. Paired it with black sandals. I think I would have to wear a watch on the one hand, but it was not working. So I wore rings in fingers. 

So everyone what do think of this look, especially about the skirt? Can I wear it in the office, or should I keep it for causual outing with a different top?
