Hello All,
Sometimes life changes suddenly, especially when you fall ill. I am still not fully recovered from Chikungunya, and it has completely disturbed me and my routine. Which feels so frustrating. I often think, how did I become so weak? Everything I loved doing now seems out of reach, and all my plans have collapsed. But this is the time to stay strong, be patient, and give yourself the strength to heal and start again.
Lately, I’ve realised one simple truth — people make efforts only for the relationships they truly value and want to continue. When someone genuinely loves you, they’ll go out of their way, give their time, and do everything to make things work. But when your absence doesn’t affect them, when they don’t even try to hold on, it clearly means you were never that important in their life. Their care or attachment was just on the surface — they were good to you, but never meant to go beyond their limits for you. Sometimes, accepting this truth is painful, but it also brings peace.
Anyways, its time for look, We celebrated Diwali last month, and it was full of happiness, light, and togetherness. Diwali, the festival of lights, is a time when every corner of India shines with joy, colors, and celebrations. It’s also the perfect occasion to embrace traditional elegance — and this look captures that spirit beautifully.
For this Diwali, I decided to go for a classic and elegant saree look. I wore a beautiful white sari with a soft pink border. The fabric has a gentle shine, which makes it perfect for the festive mood. The bright pink blouse adds a lovely pop of colour and makes the whole look stand out.
To complete the outfit, I wore traditional gold jewellery – a long necklace with intricate design, matching earrings, gold bangles, and a bracelet. The jewellery gave a royal and festive touch to the simple sari.I kept my hair open and natural, added a small bindi, and went for soft makeup with pink lipstick to match the outfit. The overall look felt graceful, festive, and comfortable — just right for celebrating Diwali with family and friends.
Please let me know in the comments how you liked my Diwali look — I always love reading your views. Till then, take care of yourself and your loved ones around you.

ReplyDeleteWhat you wrote in itallic is so true. Good that you realise that.
Take care of yourself and don't rush, even though it is frustrating. You must recover fully, and then start slow.

DeleteI am so sorry that things have been difficult lately. You are right that this is a time to be patient and give yourself the time to heal and start again. That can be difficult, but it is important to remember. As for what you said about relationships, this is very true. Sometimes, it hurts to know that there are people who do not care that much, but it is also freeing to know it, because it is possible to refocus that energy on the people who really care. I am so glad Diwali was a time of happiness, light, and togetherness! Your outfit is so beautiful!
