As i said in my last post, that i will tell all of you more about Navratri in my coming post.
So today i will give you brief about this significant festival in India and special wearing for it.
Navratri is one of the major and important festivals, celebrated to worship the Goddess Durga. It is essentially a nine day festival where different nine forms of the DeviDurga (Goddess) are worshiped, the Goddess of power and energy. Each day of Navratri has an auspicious but different colour, which is specific to that day. Different states in India celebrate this festival in their own unique way, representing their unique tradition, custom and flavour. During Navratri, Garba dance and Dandiya Raas are popular forms of dances performed by both men and women, wearing their traditional dresses. Garba is dance forms which creates so much energy that thousands of people move in sync without any choreography.Colorful clothes are worn on the auspicious occasion of Navratri. For worshiping every day, choosing the color of clothes according to the nature of the mother is considered very auspicious. Colors have a special connection with our deities, festivals and festivals.
Basically getting ready for these Garba dance is super exciting .Here i want to show you one of my attire from one of the days. I selected black Lengha . Lengha is flared, skirt-like bottom. And choli means Top. I also added Odhini with bandhani (tie-die). Its three piece dress. Jewelry is important part of this attire, specially oxidized . Necklace, sparkling bangles, Rings, Bindi , waist belts and long oxidized earrings. Everything makes a look more beautiful .
